PhilosophyASMC supports the belief that people with disabilities have the right to live and work in the most normal, least restrictive setting as is consistent with their abilities, and that they should be afforded the same dignity and rights as all other citizens. ASMC encourages the individual's emotional and spiritual growth, family and social relationships, and community involvement.Mission StatementAutism Services of Mecklenburg County, Inc. (ASMC) is a private, not-for-profit organization offering residential and treatment services for North Carolina residents with autism, and other disabilities. These services are provided in a well organized, structured environment with individualized programs emphasizing personal care, home living skills, and community integration. ASMC also strives to expand community awareness regarding autism and other disabilities.
