SERVICESResidential ServicesAutism Services of Mecklenburg County (ASMC) has been providing residential services for people with autism and other developmental disabilities since 1979. Our residents enjoy an array of personalized services and learning opportunities in their homes and in the community. Clinical supports include: Psychology, Speech and Language, Nursing, Dietary, Pharmacy and Social Work. For more information E-mail our Social Work Coordinator or call 704-525-6772, ext. 116 For information about current vacancies you may also want to visit MDNinc.org or The ArcLink Habilitative Services Supported Living provides one-on-one instruction in home and community Day Habilitation provides assistance with the aquisition and retention or improvement of self-help skills, socialization, and adaptive skills in a non-residential setting. MR Personal Care provides assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and activities of daily living. Community Based Services (CBS) addresses the mental health, developmental disability, and substance abuse needs of clients with significant functional deficits or who are at risk for developing such deficits. Community and Hourly Respite Care provides temporary relief from the responsibility and stress of caring for a family member with disabilities Crisis Stabilization provides one-to-one supervision and assistance during periods of unmanageable and/or inappropriate behavior which require specialized intervention. Therapeutic Case Consultation provides expertise, training, and technical assistance in a specialty area such as psychology, behavior analysis, speech therapy, physical therapy, or nutrition. Supported Employment provides on-the-job training and supervision.
