Learning and Enrichment Achievement Program
The Learning and Enrichment Achievement Program, L.E.A.P., is a licensed day activity program for adults with developmental disabilities, who require active treatment in a structured teaching environment. Goals and activities are implemented based on each individual’s Person Centered Plan. Each plan emphasizes the individual's choices, goals, and talents. Activities include art, music, recreation, horticulture, computer skills, leisure skills, community outings and daily living and pre-vocational activities.
The Achievement Club offers adults a relaxed, but stimulating place to go when they are not working or volunteering in the community. In addition to leisure and recreational activities, Club Members work on job readiness skills, computer skills, exercise and wellness, cultural awareness, current events and educational activities. Favorites include arts and crafts, Wii sports and other competitions and exercise activities.
