Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in assisting Autism Services to further our mission and programs. Without a strong volunteer core, we would not be able to stretch our funding to meet the needs of those we serve.
The following is a current list of our volunteer opportunities:

Yard Maintenance |
Fall and Spring spruce-ups at Group homes including raking leaves, planting flowers, etc. |
Seasonal - 2 - 4 hours per week |
Recreation Volunteer |
Assist with seasonal client activities including decoration, set-up, serving, clean-up etc. |
Monthly - 4 - 6 hours per month |
Board of Directors
The ASMC Board of Directors is composed of professionals in the field of developmental disabilities or related areas, individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members, and others from the community whose training and expertise will be a resource to the organization. The Board of Directors has three standing committees – Human Rights, Finance, and Marketing. Individuals interested in serving on the Board of Directors or one of its Committees should contact the Resource Development Coordinator at 704-392-9220, ext. 107.

If your volunteer role will require you to interact directly with Autism Service's consumers and you are over the age of 16, then we will ask you to submit to a criminal background check and drug screening. These precautions are necessary to ensure the safety of both our consumers and our volunteers.
