Parker Autism Foundation Raises $12,000 In Scholarship Funds for Camp Dakota

The Parker Autism Foundation has awarded scholarships totaling $12,000 to ASMC’s Camp Dakota. The six-week summer day program serves children with Autism Spectrum Disorders age 5 –16 and is operated at Dilworth United Methodist Church. The scholarship funds were made possible in large part through the 7thAnnual Reaching For A Star Silent Auction and Casino Night which was held on Friday, May 14th. This " party with a purpose” included several casino tables, a raffle, hors d’oervres, and a wide variety of auction items. The evening’s festivities were highlighted by a $5000 presentation to Parker Autism Foundation by Healthy Home Market to support the scholarship program. |
